Penguin One: It’s A Bird And A Plane

June 21, 2013

The Penguin Post has learned that Penguin One has become one of 13 current Southwest jets with unique paint schemes, and undoubtedly the coolest. In addition to the two Shamus, nine are painted in theme of states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas). Also in Southwest’s specialty plane line-up is “Triple Crown One,” painted to commemorate Southwest customer service achievements. Specially designed aircraft have become a regular promotion at some airlines, and a often a favorite of plane spotters.1371753002000-AP-Southwest-Airlines-debuts-Penguin-One-in-celebration-of-25-y-001-1306201431_4_3_rx404_c534x401 1371753144000-AP-Southwest-Airlines-debuts-Penguin-One-in-celebration-of-25-y-1306201433_4_3_rx383_c540x380
